This depth chart is the official one that was released at the media briefing today. Some interesting placement has Dean starting at LG ahead of Myddleton, even though Myddleton was the starter before getting hurt last year. Wilson and Federkeil are set up at left tackle, which is usually where an import plays when a team is playing one import. All four receivers have imports in the starting spots to start camp. Hufnagel said the most interesting part of camp was going to be the ratio, because they had so many options.
This depth chart lists includes the five new signings from the past couple of days. Darron Thomas, a QB who was signed on March 13, has apparently been released, even though no announcement has been made because he is no longer listed on the Stampeders site.
Right now the team has 77 players in total which includes (by my count) 7 non-counters for 70 roster players. Teams are only allowed 68 in main camp, so either the team will be releasing a couple rookies during the rookie camp, or maybe there are some of those with ACL tears who aren't yet ready.
For this update, I deleted today's announced cuts and added the numbers and links for the four draft picks we signed. I still included Brett Jones and Spencer Armstrong because there are still reasons to expect their signings in the next while. I didn't include them in the total numbers.
For this update, I have included the draft picks that Huf expects to see in training camp, even though none of their signings have been announced. Also, I have included Spencer Armstrong, who expects to be in the Stampeders camp this year.
